Ribes rubrum 'Red Lake'
Compact and mounding shrub grown for fruit, yellow flowers in spring followed by bright red fruit in July. Fruit is tart and perfect for jams, jellies and pies. Great for fruit garden or an ornamental hedge. Full sun to part shade, rich well drained soil and medium moisture. Hardy to -40F Zone 3.

Set top of rootball two inches above the ground level. Mix half garden soil and half planting mix. Mound soil to form water basin.
