Hedge Cotoneaster
2 - 5 gallon pots ranging in cost from $34.99 to $54.99 An excellent hedge plant that withstands pruning. Small pink flowers bloom in spring and are followed by black fruit. Free from insects and disease. You can keep it to any height or shape you like. This includes allowing it to naturally grow to its full height and width as a tall screening plant. As a contrast against the polished foliage, you'll be pleased to view the small, pink flowers in spring. These are shaped like tiny apple blossoms, and they will bring local butterflies dancing to your yard. In late summer, small red berries ripen into small black fruit that is a favorite for birds such as song thrushes and cedar waxwings. These berries hang on into winter.
